JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Feb. 10, 2006) -- Following a historic night thanks to Tim Smith (Newport News, Va.) and his record-setting performance against Campbell Thursday, the ETSU men's basketball team returns to action for its home regular season finale Saturday inside Memorial Center against Gardner-Webb. Game time is set for 4 p.m., with Senior Day ceremonies scheduled prior to the tip.

Smith, who now stands at 2,215 points for his career, bested the program's previous all-time mark of 2,204 set by former Buc great Greg Dennis, with a free throw late in the second half of the Campbell game. In a closely contested game, Smith scored 10 points in the final three minutes to ice the decision.

The Bucs (15-8, 12-4) still hold a 1/2-game lead over the rest of the A-Sun, but faces a daunted schedule to end the year, playing GWU at home and then going on the road for games at FAU, Lipscomb and Belmont.
