JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Nov. 9, 2005) - The 2005-2006 ETSU men's basketball team will host Mars Hill in exhibition action Thursday night at Memorial Center. Tip is set for 7 p.m. and tickets are available at the Memorial Center ticket office or by phone at 423-439-ETSU (3878).

Thursday night's game will give fans a sneak peek at this season's ETSU squad, which is entering its first season in the Atlantic Sun Conference. The Buccaneers, who have made two trips to the NCAA Tournament in the last three years, will open regular season play Nov. 18 at Tennessee.  

 Fans interested in purchasing their tickets for the Tennessee game can do so now by contacting the ETSU ticket office. These tickets will allow fans to seat in the ETSU visitor's section and will cost $8 each. Tip for the game against the Volunteers is set for 7:30 p.m.

For fans who will be away from the television on Nov. 18, they are reminded that "Voice of the Bucs" Jay Sandos will be broadcasting the live play-by-play from Thompson-Boling Arena along the Mountain States Health Alliance Buccaneer Sports Network.
