Mercer snapped a four-game losing streak by rallying back to defeat the Lady Owls, 55-50, on Friday evening in Kennesaw. The Bears erased a 30-25 halftime deficit thanks to solid play by Nicole Leanord who finished with 16 points and five rebounds, while Chelsea Seabron just missed a double-double with her 11-point, nine rebound effort. Mercer is led by TaShera Lewis who is averaging 10.9 points per game.
