JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 11, 2008) - The ETSU men's soccer team is set to face UNC Greensboro in the Elon Classic on Friday at 5 p.m., at Rudd Field in Elon, N.C.

The Bucs (2-1) have won their last two road games including a 2-0 win over Wofford and a 2-1 comeback win over VMI. ETSU is led offensively by Aliyu Sugri (LaVergne, Tenn.) who has two goals on the young season, including the game winner over the Keydets.

UNC Greensboro (0-3) has dropped its first three matches of the season, but the Spartans return several players from the 2007 squad that made it to the Southern Conference Tournament final. The Spartans feature Jokul Elisabetarson, who leads the team in points, and was second on the team in goals a year ago.

ETSU closes out the Elon Classic facing the host Phoenix (0-2-1) on Sunday at 3:30 p.m.
