The Bucs (10-4) were led offensively by first baseman Paul Hoilman (

Stephen Pryor earned the win for Tennessee Tech (9-8) throwing a perfect ninth with two strikeouts.
After two scoreless innings to start the game, the Bucs took a 1-0 lead as freshman Andrew Green (
A.J. Kirby Jones tied the game at 2-all in the bottom of the sixth as he crushed a two-run home run over the fence in right. Later in the inning, the Golden Eagles went ahead 3-2 as Seth Edwards came in to score on a sacrifice fly to right by Guyear.
In the bottom of the seventh, TTU increased its lead to 4-2 as Frankie Beech came in to score from second on a double by Tate McMillan.
Hoilman put the Buccaneers back in front in the top of the eighth as he sent the first pitch he saw over the fence in left center for a three-run home run to make the score 5-4 ETSU. The home run was the eighth of the season for Hoilman
The Golden Eagles got a lead off double in the ninth by Jones and a hit batsman to start the bottom of the ninth. After a bunt single to load the bases and a force play at home, Guyear singled back up the middle scoring two runs to win the game for TTU.
