JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Aug. 18, 2009) - A Sam Bryan (Caldy, England) goal in the 85th minute gave the ETSU men's soccer team a 1-0 win against King College in an exhibition match on a rainy Tuesday night in Bristol, Tenn.
"We played really well, and this was a good first test for our players," said head coach Scott Calabrese. "The fact that King had a good crowd at the game, because of freshmen orientation dinner made it an exciting atmosphere for us to play in."

"We got quality play from both our keepers in the match," Calabrese said. "Playing a competitive match early in the season is great for out growth, and a good eye opener for our freshmen to see what college soccer is all about."
