ETSU athletics lend support on Move-In Day

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Aug. 22, 2013) – The ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics was on hand Thursday to assist new and returning students throughout campus on Move-In Day 2013.

Department staff members, coaches and student-athletes volunteered their time to help fellow members of the ETSU community move in to their residence halls. Volunteers helped in the unloading process and aided in hauling various housing items into students’ respective rooms.

The first day of classes for the 2013 fall semester begin on Saturday, Aug. 24 along with men’s and women’s soccer in visiting contests this weekend as well.

The ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics takes pride in its community service activities and strives for 100 percent participation from its student-athletes, coaches and administrators throughout the year. This 2013-14 year, ETSU is partnered with State of Franklin Bank to help promote community service in the Tri-Cities region.
