(Aug. 31, 2015) – The ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced Monday that it has made arrangements to provide a limited number of “standing room only” tickets to the Buccaneers’ season opening football game on Thursday, Sept. 3 against Kennesaw State inside Kermit Tipton Stadium.

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Aug. 28, 2015) – The men’s soccer team led 1-0 at the half but faltered in the second half by allowing three goals within 19 minutes. The Bucs (0-1) suffer their first loss of the season while the Tigers (1-0) picked up their first win. Junior Joao Ramalho led the attack for ETSU with a goal, and freshman Jonny Sutherland gave the Bucs a fighting chance with eight saves on the night.

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (August 28, 2015) - Inside Summers-Taylor Stadium, the ETSU women's soccer team grinded out a 1-0 victory in their home opener against Tennessee Tech on Friday night. Senior Sarah Zadrazil (St. Gilgen, Austria) scored the long goal for the Bucs.

BLACKSBURG, Va. (August 28, 2015) – The East Tennessee State University volleyball team dropped its season-opening match Friday afternoon to Virginia Tech, 3-0. ETSU fell in each set by identical 25-19 scores. Senior Khadijah Wiley (Columbus, Ga.) paced the Bucs with 10 kills in 21 attempts.
