Johnson City, Tenn. -- Gareth Davis (Thetford, England), a member of the 1999-2000 ETSU Men's Basketball Team has signed a professional contract with the London Leopards.

Davis, a 6-9 forward, averaged 1.5 points and 1.3 rebounds per game in the recently completed season. He played in 22 games and made one start. Davis scored a season-high eight points in ETSU's first win of the season over Lynchburg College.

"The Leopards play in the best league in England," said Davis. "I worked out for them over spring break this year and they wanted to sign me. I had a couple of other teams offer me, but I decided to go with the Leopards because they are close to my hometown and my family will get to see me play.
