ETSU To Play At Eastern Michigan In 2003

Friday, January 14, 2000

Johnson City, Tenn. - The ETSU athletic department announced that ETSU will play at Eastern Michigan in football early in the 2003 season.

"We are excited to have the opportunity to compete with Eastern Michigan and the Mid-American Conference," said Pergolizzi. "The scheduling of this game represents another step in solidifying the long-term plan for football at East Tennessee State University. We had originally discussed playing Eastern Michigan in the 2002 season. However, the dates they originally thought were available did not materialize. Fortunately we had compatible open dates in 2003."

Football Banquet
A banquet honoring the 1999 East Tennessee State football team will be held on Friday, Feb. 4 at the Centre at Millennium Park. Tickets for the event are $12 for adults and $8 for children under 15. A buffet meal will be served and the event will begin at 7:00.
