Johnson City, Tenn. - Head soccer coach Heather Puckett announced that Andrea Brown (High Point, N.C.) has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Buccaneer program.

Brown, a senior at High Point Central High School, earned All-Conference honors all four years while playing under head coach David Upchurch. She earned All-Regional honors following her junior and senior seasons and served as the team captain in 1999. Brown led her high school team to two State Championships and also played club soccer for the Soccer Showcase.

A fine student-athlete, Brown was a member of the Honor Roll throughout high school and also participated in the Key Club, a national service organization.

"Andrea has unlimited potential and the desire to win," Puckett said. "I believe she will bring those characteristics to our program and be an integral part in our success for the next four years."
