Berry Finishes 53rd At NCAA Cross Country Championships

Bloomington, Ind. - East Tennessee State University senior Catherine Berry finished 53rd at the 1999 NCAA Cross Country Championship. She finished with a time of 17:38.5.

Wisconsin's Erica Palmer won the NCAA Championship with a time of 16:39.5. Brigham Young captured the women's cross country team title.

Berry, who finished second in the Southern Conference Championships, won the NCAA South Regional 5,000M race in 16:51 on November 13. Berry and her teammates won the 1999 Southern Conference Championship on October 31.
