Men's Golf Prepares for Tennessee Tournament of Champions

Johnson City, Tenn. -- The East Tennessee State mens golf team will compete in the 2000 Coca-Cola Tennessee Tournament of Champions on September 18-19 at the Holston Hills Country Club in Knoxville, Tenn.

The Holston Hills Golf Course is a par-72 that stretches 6,932 yards. Last year, Augusta States Michael Wolf won the individual medal and led his team to the team title.

Joining the Bucs in the field are: Auburn, Augusta State, Central Florida, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Southern, LSU, North Carolina State, North Florida, Southern Mississippi, Tennessee, Chattanooga and Virginia.

ETSU is led by two-time NCAA All-American Chris Wisler who finished second at last weeks Bank of Tennessee/The Ridges tournament in Jonesborough, Tenn. after carding a three-round 209 (67-73-69).
