Womens Golf Finishes Tenth After Cancellation of Final Round in Bradford Creek Spring Invitational Johnson City, Tenn.-- East Tennessee State senior Mimmie Dymling finished sixth in the and led the Buccaneers to a tenth place finish in the Bradford Creek Spring Invitational in Greenville, N.C., hosted by East Carolina University.
The third round of the invitational was cancelled due to blustery winds and temperatures in the low 30s.
East Tennessee State shot a second-round 331 to give them a two-round total of 652 (321-331), 32 strokes behind champion Colorado State University.
Junior Catalina Zuluaga and freshman Kristen Fletcher tied for 50th with two round scores of 165. Freshman Lauren Rice tied for 67th after firing her second consecutive 84. Sophomore Amanda Ovington tied for 93rd following a second round 90.
The sixth-place finish was the best of Dymlings career. Her previous best was a 10th place finish in the Lady Cougar Invitational on Oct. 9-10, 2000.
The Buccaneers return to action on Mar. 31-Apr. 1 as they play in the Chris Bannister/Gamecock Classic, hosted by Jacksonville State University.
