Mt. Pleasent, S.C. (September 23, 2002) - East Tennessee State's women's golf team finished fifth after day one of the Cougar Fall Invitational in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
The Buccaneers were led by
Robin McCarley who is tied for sixth individually after shooting a team low 75.
Danielle O'Reilly (Whistler, British Columbia) shot an 80 while
Laura Diaz (Aguadilla, Puerto Rico) shot an 82 for her round.
Kristen Fletcher (Cookeville, Tenn.) and
Ashley Barton (Seffner, Fla.) both shot an 83 on the day.
The tournament, hosted by the College of Charleston, will conclude on Tuesday. Coastal Carolina leads the tournament with a combined score of 300 followed by College of Charleston who shot a 302.
