Lady Bucs to host Western Carolina

Sunday, January 12, 2003

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Jan. 12, 2003) -- East Tennessee State's women's basketball team will play host to Southern Conference opponent Western Carolina on Monday, Jan. 13 with tip-off set for 5 p.m. in Memorial Center. The Buccaneers (3-10, 0-4 SoCon) hope returning home will help them snap a current four-game losing streak, three of which came on the road, including Saturday's 71-60 loss to UNC Greensboro. ETSU has a 2-1 record in home contests so far this season, but Western Carolina won't be an easy match-up. The Catamounts are currently 10-3 overall and are 2-1 in the Southern Conference. Following the women's game, fans will also be allowed to stick around and watch the Buccaneer men take on College of Charleston at 7:30 p.m. For advance tickets please call the ETSU ticket office at (423) 439-5371.
