JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Feb. 13, 2004) - East Tennessee State's women's soccer program has announced its 2004 spring schedule. Head coach Heather Henson commented, "I think it will be a fun spring and this year's competition will give us a lot of opportunity to play and see a lot of different teams and styles." The spring schedule will consist of five playing dates in which they will compete against some teams such as, Middle Tennessee State Western Kentucky, UNC Charlotte, and Radford. Game environments will vary during the spring schedule, as coach Henson explained, "This year we will compete in indoor small-sided game, outdoor small-sided games, to full 11 a side games. This will help us recognize different styles as well as experiment with our own systems. One goal for this spring is to play several different systems in preparation for the fall 2004." The Bucs first playing date will be a six-on-six indoor tournament at Tusculum in Greeneville, Tenn. on February 22.
