Women's Cross Country Earns All-Academic Team Honors

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (July 1, 2003) - East Tennessee State University's women's cross country team was named to the 2002-03 All-Academic Team list by the Women's Intercollegiate Cross Country Coaches Association.

The 2002-03 All-Academic Team list included 118 teams. Teams needed to have a cumulative 3.00 GPA in order to qualify as an All-Academic Cross Country Team. ETSU's cross country program qualified with a cumulative GPA of 3.04.

Other notable women's cross country teams within the region that received this honor include Kentucky, North Carolina State, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Wake Forest, and William & Mary.
