WALLACE, N.C. (April 4, 2005) - ETSU junior Ashley Barton (Seffner, Fla.) and freshman Natalio Giraldo (Cali, Colombia) both posted two-round scores of 150 to end the day tied for third place on the individual leaderboard, powering the Lady Bucs to a third-place spot on the team leaderboard Monday in the UNCW Lady Seahawk Invitational at the River Landing Country Club.
Georgia State currently leads the event by one stroke over host UNCW, while the Lady Bucs are 13 strokes back of the team leader. On the individual leaderboard, Barton and Giraldo are just two strokes off the pace set by UNC Wilmington's Michelle Jarman, who fired a 148. Jarman leads her UNCW teammate Becky Barzonski by just one stroke.
As for the rest of the Lady Bucs, freshman Maria Ringdahl is currently tied for 14th at 155, while junior Laura Diaz (Aguadilla, Puerto Rico) is tied for 53rd and senior Danielle O'Reilly is tied for 61st.
