CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (Feb. 13, 2005) - The ETSU softball squad finished play at the UNC Triangle Classic today with an impressive 1-0 victory over the Temple University Owls.  Belinda Barrera (Fayeteville, N.C.) pitched a stellar game for the Bucs, allowing no earned runs off of just two hits by the Owl offense.  En-route to her first victory of 2005, Barrera tallied nine strikeouts.  Jessica Lonsinger (Dale City, Va.) scored the winning run off a single by freshman Jessica Payne (Maryville, Tenn.).  With the win, ETSU improves to 3-2 thus far in the young 2005 season.

ETSU returns to action Feb. 16 when they travel to face Gardner Webb in a double header beginning at 1:00 p.m.
