JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Apr. 1, 2005) - The East Tennessee State baseball team hosts Elon in a three-game Southern Conference series this weekend from Cardinal Park in Johnson City, Tenn. Friday's game is scheduled for 7 p.m., Saturday's contest is set for 2 p.m. and Sunday's first pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.

            The Bucs took two of three this past weekend on the road at UNC Greensboro to raise their record to 13-7, 4-5 in SoCon games. Elon is 16-12, 7-5 in conference after losing two midweek games at Wake Forest and N.C. State and winning two of three against Davidson last weekend.

            East Tennessee State is scheduled to start junior lefty Steven Calicutt (Spartanburg, S.C.) on Friday, junior righty Jeremy Hall (Gray, Tenn.) on Saturday and junior lefty Brian Lovett (Knoxville, Tenn.) on Sunday. Elon is expected to counter with righty Matt McSwain on Friday and righty Ryan Basham on Saturday while the Phoenix are undecided on Sunday's starter.

            Friday's game will be broadcast on the Mountain States Health Alliance Buccaneer Sports Network, beginning with the pregame show at 6:30 p.m.
