A-Sun names 23 ETSU student-athletes for Academic All-Conference Honors

MACON, Ga. (Feb. 28, 2006) - The Atlantic Sun Conference today announced its Academic All-Conference teams for the fall semester of 2005. East Tennessee State University had 23 student-athletes that received the honor.

     ETSU's soccer team had the largest representation with nine student-athletes earning the honor. Cross country added eight to the list, four women and four men. Volleyball and men's basketball both added three athletes each. Women's basketball and track and field will be announced at a later date. A total of 526 student-athletes, representing all 11 Atlantic Sun Conference institutions were named to the team.
