Tuesday, September 06, 2005

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 9, 2005) - The Mountain States Health Alliance Buccaneer Sports Network announced Tuesday that it will air Internet-only broadcasts of women's soccer and volleyball beginning with Wednesday night's home volleyball opener against Wofford at Brooks Gym.

In all, the network will carry eight women's soccer matches and eight volleyball matches through the ETSUBucs.com website. The schedule will include several non-conference matches, as well as contests against new rivals in the Atlantic Sun Conference.

"As our network continues to grow, we believe this is just another way for us to utilize our investments in technology to connect our fans to ETSU athletics," said ETSU Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Dave Mullins. "We're proud of what the Mountain States Health Alliance Buccaneer Sports Network has accomplished in just three short years, and expanding our coverage even more into our women's sports and Olympic events is now a priority."

Fans can access these broadcasts by clicking on the network logo located at ETSUBucs.com and then clicking on the 2005-06 Season Live Audio link. As the season progresses, fans will also be able to listen live to men's basketball, women's basketball, baseball and softball games, as well as the weekly Inside Buc Sports radio coaches show.
