ETSU men's golf team helps raise money for Ronald McDonald House
Members of the ETSU women's basketball team sign autographs Sunday night. Monday, November 14, 2005 , The men's golf team set up three tables outside and around the JC Penney entrances to the mall and sold tickets from "It's a good way to give back to the community," said sophomore Cian McNamara ( Every year, The Mall at Local non-profit and charitable organizations sell tickets to the general public in the weeks leading up to the occasion and at all the mall entrances the day of the event, and they keep 100 percent of the proceeds. "Ronald McDonald House is one of the charities that we've adopted as ours," said head coach Fred Warren, "It's a good way for our young men to give back to the community." The ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics takes pride in its community service activities and strives for 100 percent participation from its student-athletes, coaches and administrators throughout the year. |
