JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (June 6, 2007) - Three days after naming former ETSU standout Rhys Davies (Bridgend, Wales) to his third straight PING First-Team All-America team, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced the rest of its All-America squad on Wednesday and recognized yet another Buccaneer player.

Davies' teammate Gareth Shaw (Lisburn, Northern Ireland) has been named to the honorable mention squad for the 2006-07 season. Shaw, a rising senior, finished the year second on the team in stroke average at 71.8, enjoyed five Top 13 individual finishes during the year, and was the Bucs' top performer at the NCAA Championships earlier this month. A total of 28 other golfers joined Shaw on the  honorable mention list.

Davies and Shaw become the first multiple All-Americans at ETSU since the 1999 season, when former Bucs' David Christensen, Eamonn Brady and Chris Wisler were selected to the team.
