JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Feb. 24, 2007) -- In their final regular season game before the General Shale Brick Atlantic Sun Conference Men's Basketball Championship, the newly crowned A-Sun Champion ETSU Buccaneers will face Mercer on Senior Day beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday inside Memorial Center.

Prior to the game's tipoff, ETSU seniors Brad Nuckles (Council, Va.), Eryk Thomas (Fremont, Calif.) and Nick Tuggle (Memphis) will be honored for their efforts as part of the Buccaneer athletic tradition. Meanwhile, the game will pit the Bucs (21-8 overall, 15-2 A-Sun) against Mercer (13-15, 8-9), a team that has struggled lately, losing five of their last seven to drop below .500 on the season.

By virtue of their championship win Thursday night, the Bucs are guaranteed the No. 1 seed in the tournament, which begins next Thursday inside Memorial Center. ETSU will play the 7 p.m. game that evening against either Campbell or Stetson, depending on the outcomes of Saturday's final day of regular season play.
