Pigram powers Bucs to share of A-Sun title
Sophomore Courtney Pigram hit five second half 3-pointers against KSU. Saturday, February 17, 2007 KENNESAW, Pigram finished with a game-high 23 points, while junior forward Andrew Reed (Port Richey, Fla.) posted 19 points and senior forward Brad Nuckles (Council, Va.) picked up his 16th career double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds. With the win, ETSU improves to 20-8 overall, 14-2 in A-Sun action, and holds a two-game lead over second place Belmont with two games left in the regular season. Meanwhile, KSU drops to 11-18, 7-9 with the loss. "It's great to get a share of the title, but there's still a lot of work left to do this season," said ETSU head coach Murry Bartow, who has led the Bucs to two regular season league titles during his four years in Johnson City. "You can't say enough about Courtney Pigram's effort tonight, but we also got great play from Andrew Reed and Brad Nuckles. To come in here and win is tough.
