JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Jan. 19, 2007) -- When ETSU and Kennesaw State meet in a battle of Atlantic Sun Conference rivals Friday night, fans will certainly get what they pay for inside Memorial Center. With five new Hall of Fame inductees being introduced prior to the game, former ETSU great Greg Dennis on hand to be honored as a Top 5 Fan Favorite at halftime, and CSS in the building to televise the game regionally, there will be plenty for Buccaneer fans to cheer about.

Game time is set for 7:30 and the first 2,000 fans through the gate will receive a complimentary Greg Dennis No. 11 replica jersey pin. In addition, fans will get to watch two teams that enjoyed a pair of battles in their first two meetings ever a year ago.

However, before the game former ETSU greats Kim Bird (track/cross country), Amy Engle-Shulman (women's basketball), Alan LeForce (men's basketball), Les Robinson (men's basketball) and Todd Wells (football) will be honored for their induction as the 2006 class of the ETSU Athletics Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the D.P. Culp Center.

As for the game itself, the Bucs and Owls split a pair of games last season, with ETSU falling at KSU in overtime, while returning home to beat the Owls soundly inside Memorial Center later in the year. At present, the Bucs stand at 7-1 in league play and at the top of the league standings, while Kennesaw State has overcome a slow start to find itself with a pair of impressive league wins and currently middle of the pack in the A-Sun race.
