ETSU softball announce schedule changes

Monday, April 16, 2007

JOHSNON CITY, Tenn. (April 16, 2007) - Tuesday's ETSU/Virginia Tech softball game has been cancelled after the Virginia Tech Athletic Department cancelled all intercollegiate athletic events and practices for Monday, April 16 and Tuesday April 17.

The Bucs and Hokies were scheduled to meet in the State Line Classic in nearby Bristol, Tenn. Tuesday evening; however, with the cancellation ETSU will now face Virginia Intermont at 7:30 p.m. The game will still be played in Bristol, following the Radford/Tennessee series.

Another schedule change was announced Monday as ETSU and Radford moved its game up a day due to a schedule conflict. Originally, the Bucs and Highlanders were scheduled to play a doubleheader this Thursday, April 19, instead the teams will now play a single game on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. at Dedmon Center Field.
