JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Apr. 6, 2007) - Freshman Danny Petro (Atlanta, Ga.) capped an improbable game one rally with a bases loaded 10th inning single, propelling the Bucs to a 7-6 victory, and senior Caleb Glafenhein (Knoxville, Tenn.) turned in his third consecutive complete game effort in the nightcap, holding the Owls to two runs on 10 hits as ETSU completed the weekend sweep, 5-2.  The weekend sweep keeps the Bucs in a first place tie with Stetson atop the Atlantic Sun Conference standings.

Senior Justin Aughey (Davie, Fla.) led off the ninth inning with his fourth home run of the season; a solo shot over the right field fence, pulling the Bucs within two at 6-4.  Freshman Ryan Self (Mt. Juliet, Tenn.) reached on a throwing error, later scoring on junior Bubba Herbold's (Knoxville, Tenn.) single up the middle.  Freshman Tanner Moore (Chattanooga, Tenn.) doubled home the tying run, scoring pinch runner Jacob Fabry (Chattanooga, Tenn.) all the way from first.

Senior C.J. Lee (Bristol, Va.) led off the extra frame with a single into center field, and moved to second on a failed pick off attempt by Kennesaw reliever Kody Paul.  An intentional walk and a bunt single loaded the bases before Petro delivered the game-winning hit.

The Bucs (23-12, 10-2) scored three runs in the first two innings, taking a 1-0 lead in the first on freshman Danny Petro's (Atlanta, Ga.) RBI double, and extending to a 3-0 advantage on Moore's second home run of the season in the second; a two run blast to right field also scoring senior Michael Courtney (Knoxville, Tenn.).

The Owls (18-15, 2-7) answered with five runs through the middle innings, adding an apparent insurance run in the top of the ninth before the ETSU rally.

Kennesaw reliever Kyle Clayton (1-1) took the loss, allowing one run on two hits in a third of an inning of work.  Glafenhein (11-2) worked the 10th for the Bucs, striking out one and picking up his first of two wins on the day.

After allowing single runs in the first and second innings of game two, Glafenhein fired seven consecutive scoreless innings, picking up his third consecutive complete game victory.

Aughey doubled home the first ETSU run in the first, plating Lee from second base, and scored himself later in the inning on sophomore Troy Mendez's (Roswell, Ga.) groundout.

A throwing error in the second allowed sophomore Ben Allen (Kingsport, Tenn.) to score with the third Buccaneer run, breaking a 2-2 tie, and the Bucs never relinquished the lead.

Freshman Justin Tramble's (Marietta, Ga.) bunt single in the fourth inning scored Moore from third, and the Bucs added a fifth run in the eighth when Petro scored on another Kennesaw State throwing error.

The Bucs hit the road next, taking on former Southern Conference foe Furman in Greenville Wednesday night at 6 p.m.
