JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Mar. 30, 2007) - Campbell scored 10 runs in the final four innings, rallying from a 3-0 deficit and posting a 10-6 Atlantic Sun Conference victory Friday night at Cardinal Park.

Ryan Hamme's two-out single through the right side brought home Zach Johnson with the first Camel run in the sixth inning.  Johnson reached to lead off the inning with a double to left center.

Campbell (6-22, 2-5) the exploded for five runs in the seventh, taking a 6-3 advantage and never looking back.  Shortstop Robb Meng led off the frame with a single to right, and after advancing on a passed ball, moved to third on Mike Causey's bunt single.  Johnson tied the game with a base-clearing double into the gap in right center.  After a sacrifice bunt moved Johnson to third, Carlton Floyd gave the Camels their first lead with a two-out single.  Back-to-back doubles scored two more Campbell runs before the end of the nightmarish inning.

Campbell added three more runs in the eighth and a single run in the ninth on Robb Meng's solo shot to left field for the final 10-run tally.

The Bucs plated three runs in the bottom of the ninth and had the tying run on deck before Hamme struck out sophomore Troy Mendez (Roswell, Ga.), ending the contest.

Junior Brandon Langston (Ringgold, Ga.) took his first loss since the season opener, falling to 5-2.  The right hander surrendered six runs on 10 hits while striking out three in 6 2/3 innings.  Quinn LeSage (1-6) picked up his first win of the season, striking out three in three innings of relief work.

Every Buccaneer starter collected a hit on the night, led by senior C.J. Lee's (Bristol, Va.) and freshman Justin Tramble's (Marietta, Ga.) two-hit performances.

The Bucs (18-11, 5-2) took a 1-0 lead in the second inning when freshman Ryan Self (Mt. Juliet, Tenn.) scored on freshman Tanner Moore's (Chattanooga, Tenn.) double down the left field line.

Junior Anthony Russell (Waldorf, Md.) doubled home Tramble with the second ETSU run in the third after Tramble led off the frame with a double.

Freshman Danny Petro tripled with one out in the fifth, later scoring on a wild pitch for a 3-0 Buccaneer lead.

The teams conclude the series with a Saturday afternoon doubleheader at Cardinal Park.  First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.
