(Nov. 17, 2006) - Head baseball coach Tony Skole announced his seventh and final signee for the 2006 signing class Friday afternoon, stating that Josh Means out of Kennesaw, Ga. had signed a national letter of intent with ETSU.

The 31st rated prospect in the country by Baseball America, Means currently plays AAU ball for the prestigious East Cobb Yankees after being MVP of the East Cobb Astros for three consecutive seasons.  The right-hander has already thrown a perfect game in his high school career and possesses a long list f accolades, including multiple MVPs and earning a spot on the esteemed Area Code Team in 2006.

"Arguably he may be the most highly touted and decorated recruit ever to sign a baseball scholarship at ETSU," said Skole.  "Josh was very highly recruited and had numerous offers from several very good baseball programs.  We are honored he chose ETSU.  Josh has had a lot of success at the highest levels of summer baseball, and has performed very well on the biggest stages throughout his career.  He is one of the top pitchers in the state of Georgia and is ranked nationally by all the major recruiting publications.  Josh has a very high ceiling and possesses all the intangibles to have an outstanding career at ETSU."
