Fans invited to "Buc Bash" at Fanatics Restaurant to watch the games

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Dec. 4, 2007) - The ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics in cooperation with WJHL-TV Newschannel 11 have teamed up to bring the Buccaneers to the local television airwaves when they take on Big 12 Conference member Oklahoma State on Dec. 8 and Big East Conference foe Syracuse on Dec. 15.

The Oklahoma State game, which is scheduled for an 8 p.m. (EST) tip, will air on WJHL's partner station WAPK, while the Syracuse game, which will start at 7 p.m., will be broadcast on WJHL.

"We really appreciate Jack Dempsey and the people at WJHL who were very instrumental in making this a possibility," said ETSU Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Dave Mullins. "Giving our fans a chance to watch these two games against BCS conference schools is something that doesn't happen all the time, but when it does it helps our fans follow the team and it allows us to continue to build our fan base across the region."

Fans that would like to get out and watch the game on a big screen, and share the ups and downs of these mega-conference games with fellow Buc fans, can do so by coming to Fanatic's Restaurant inside the Doubletree Hotel in Johnson City on both Dec. 8 and Dec. 15. Fanatics will be offering specials on food and beverages for ETSU fans.
