TULSA, Okla. (May 23, 2008) - Fresh off his impressive win over the nation's 42nd ranked player Ruben Gonzales (Illinois), junior All-American Enrique Olivares (Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela) returns to action this afternoon when he faces Tennessee's J.P. Smith (ranked No. 24) at 1:30 p.m. EST from the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, located on the University of Tulsa's campus.

 

Olivares advanced into the round of 16 after defeating Gonzales in a three-set thriller Thursday, 6-4, 4-6, 6-4; making him just the second Buccaneer player and first individual in Atlantic Sun history to make the Sweet 16.
