JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Oct. 20, 2007) - Senior Jenny Norman (Peachtree City, Ga.) made her final ETSU Blue/Gold scrimmage a memorable one as she scored 17 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, lifting the Gold squad past Blue, 58-55, Saturday afternoon inside Memorial Center.

The Gold team, coached by assistant DeShawne Blocker, trailed by one at the break (42-41) and by as many  as four in the second half, but she kept her team focused as Gold used a 14-7 run to close out the final seven and half minutes of the contest for the victory.

The Georgia connection was in full affect for Gold, as freshmen Kami Phillips (Augusta, Ga.) and Brittany Daniels (Shellman, Ga.) each pitched in with 10 points; while sophomore Siarre Evans (Griffin, Ga.) finished with six points and 10 rebounds.

Senior Michele DeVault (Columbus, Ohio) and sophomore TaRonda Wiles (Danville, Va.) kept Blue in the game, as they combined for 36 of the 55 points for assistant coach Matt Smith's squad. Both Wiles and DeVault finished with game-high 18-point efforts, while DeVault led the team with seven boards. Devin Thompson (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) gave Blue a spark off the bench, finishing with eight points (4-of-6 shooting) and five rebounds.

As a team Blue out-shot Gold, 44.7 (21-47) to 42.1 percent (24-57), but Blocker's group dominated the glass as they out-rebounded Blue, 37-27, leading to 13 second chance points.
