JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Feb. 29, 2008) - East Tennessee State University women's soccer head coach Heather Henson announced today that eight skilled young ladies have joined the Buccaneer squad for the 2008 fall season.

"We are very excited to have such an outstanding group of young ladies joining our program", said Coach Henson.  "We were able to bring in a talented group of student-athletes that understand our expectations both academically and athletically.  They have a great deal of potential to make an impact quickly in our team's performance.  Losing only three seniors and adding such talented players will give us added depth in all positions as well as making every practice a great competitive training environment.  These ladies will bring a lot of different skill sets to our team and we feel that their versatility will give a lot of options in systems and style of play."
