ETSU Baseball takes on Florida Gulf Coast in key series

FORT MYERS, Fla. (May 9, 2008) -The ETSU Baseball team is set to take on Florida Gulf Coast in a three-game series at Swanson Stadium in Fort Myers, Fla. The Bucs and Eagles will play a doubleheader Saturday starting at 1 p.m. with the third game Sunday at 1 p.m.

 

The Bucs (18-32, 9-18) are 3-0 in the state of Florida this season with the last trip coming in March when the Bucs swept Jacksonville. This weekend's games and next weekends games will be important for the Bucs and whether or not they will make the A-Sun tournament.

The doubleheader Saturday can be seen on ASun.tv only, while Sunday's game will be broadcast live as Jay Sandos the "Voice of the Bucs", will be calling all the action on live on both the website and on on WKPT-AM 1590 and its translator 97.7 FM in Johnson City, WKTP-AM 1400 and its translator 94.3 FM in Kingsport and WOPI-AM 1490 in Bristol. Additionally, WOPI's FM translator 97.7 will also the game. Fans at the ballpark can also hear the game on Stadiumcast which is 88.7 FM. Sunday's game is also on ASun.tv.
