ETSU baseball to host James Madison; Appalachian State game cancelled

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (May 6, 2008) - The ETSU baseball team is set to take on James Madison at Cardinal Park Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. before heading to Fort Myers, Fla. for an important three-game series with Florida Gulf Coast.

 

The Bucs (18-31, 9-18) will look to extend their winning streak after sweeping both North Carolina Central and Maryland Eastern Shore last week. Junior Ben Allen (Kingsport, Tenn.) eanred A-Sun Player of the Week honors and will look to continue his own hot streak.

 

The game will be broadcast live as Jay Sandos the "Voice of the Bucs", will be calling all the action live on both the website and on WKPT-AM 1590 and its translator 97.7 FM in Johnson City, WKTP-AM 1400 and its translator 94.3 FM in Kingsport and WOPI-AM 1490 in Bristol. Additionally, WOPI's FM translator 97.7 will also the game. Fans at the ballpark can also hear the game on Stadiumcast which is 88.7 FM.
