ETSU Baseball puts on clinic for Kingsport youth

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (April 22, 2008) - The ETSU baseball team put on a clinic for the youth from Kingsport on Monday night in Kingsport at Hunter Wright Stadium.

 

The Bucs teamed up with the Kingsport Parks and Recreation to put on this clinic where the kids learned the fundamentals of fielding, hitting and base running.

 

"We are really excited to have ETSU here," said Kitty Frazier. "It is great to have the clinic every year and to teach the kids the right fundamental of the game. I am excited to get these kids excited about baseball and ETSU. This has been a great partnership."

 

Anyone interested in the ETSU baseball camp can register for either of the summer sessions at the ETSU baseball office located in the Mini Dome. Session I is June 9-12 and Session II is July 7-10. The camp is for kids 5-14 and will provide a fun filled experience for all campers.
