ALPHARETTA, Ga. (April 6, 2009) - The 28th-ranked ETSU men's golf team moved up two spots on the team leaderboard during Monday's second round action in the U.S. Collegiate Championship at the Golf Club of Georgia's Lakeside Course.

Facing a talented 15-team field that includes 14 teams that are ranked in the Top 25 - including each of the nation's Top 10 squads - the Buccaneers moved past No. 8 Florida and No. 18 Florida State to take 13th in the team standings. Meanwhile, No. 7 Stanford leads No. 23 Texas A&M by four strokes for the team lead at 3-over 579 for the event.

Individually, Bud Cauley of Alabama and Eric Flores of UCLA are currently tied for the individual lead at 5-under 139. For ETSU, sophomore Rhys Enoch (Cornwall, England) posted a team-best score of 1-over-par 73 in the second round to finish as the Bucs' top performer at 4-over 148 and tied for 26th on the leaderboard.

Other ETSU results included a tie for 42nd by freshman Michael Stewart (Troon, Scotland), while junior Seamus Power (Waterford, Ireland) fired a 3-over 75 and is tied for 57th and sophomore Paul O'Kane (Castledawson, Northern Ireland) is tied for 62nd.
