, Tenn. (October 6, 2008) - ETSU men's tennis seniors Alex Ahlgren (Tyreso, Sweden) and Enrique Olivares (Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela), will compete at the historical 2008 D'Novo/ITA Men's All-American Championships, Tuesday and Wednesday, in Tulsa, Okla.

A total of 128 singles players and 64 doubles teams will head to Tulsa University, in one of the fall's most viable tournaments. Of the 128 singles players, 16 advanced from the pre-qualifying tournament this past weekend. On the doubles side selections were chosen by the ITA National Ranking and Tournament Committee, which was based the previous year's overall record and team rankings.

Earlier this fall, Olivares and Ahlgren outlasted many of the top doubles teams in the country at the 41st annual Southern Intercollegiate Championships in Athens, Ga. In that event the senior pair outlasted 31 other teams that included wins over ranked teams from Duke, Florida and Middle Tennessee for second-place.

Recently, in their last tournament, Olivares and Ahlgren took third-place at the Ranked Plus One Invitational defeating host Virginia's team of Singh and Courtney, 8-5.
