ETSU volleyball to host Tennessee

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Oct. 13, 2008) - The ETSU volleyball team is set to host in-state rival Tennessee Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Brooks Gym.

 

The Bucs (7-10, 4-6 A-Sun) have won two of their last three matches defeating conference opponents Kennesaw State and Campbell. ETSU is 0-10 all-time against Tennessee, but the Bucs are 9-1 in their last ten home non-conference matches.

 

The Vols (10-8, 4-4 SEC) come into the match having dropped its last two matches getting swept by South Carolina last Friday and ninth ranked Florida on Sunday.

 

Tuesday night is "Squeeze the Orange" Night as the first 150 fans will receive a customized orange fruit shaped stress ball. The Athletic Department will be collecting donations for "Dig for the Cure" presented by the Side-Out Foundation which is dedicated to helping women in the fight against Breast Cancer.
