JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Jan. 21, 2009) -Women's soccer head coach Heather Henson has released the dates for the Bucs fifth annual "Buccaneer Soccer School for Girls," this summer.

The Girl's Day Camp will take place June 1-4, running from 9 a.m. till Noon for all girls ages 5-12. This camp offers an emphasis on basic soccer skills, such as dribbling, passing, shooting, heading and receiving. This four-day camp not only offers hands on teaching and coaching from all three ETSU soccer coaches and staff, but offers each camper small-group training (more one-on-one teaching) and small-sized fun games to put their newly learned skills to the test.

Also this summer the ETSU women's soccer coaches will offer its annual Elite Girls and Team Camp, July 18-22. Girls ages 10-18 are encouraged to attend by either commuting to Summers-Taylor Stadium or staying as a resident. This camp is designed to help players reach the next level by pushing them to develop their game both technically and tactically in a competitive environment. The Residential Camp is designed for players with competitive playing experience. Campers will be trained by the Bucs highly qualified staff to improve their technical skills and knowledge of soccer through small and full-sided matches.

"We are extremely excited to once again host our Buccaneer Soccer School, said Henson. "Last year's camp was our largest ever and we are looking forward to having another great camp this time around. We will once again have a high quality staff, great facilities with the completion of the Summers-Taylor Soccer Complex that will help make the Buccaneer Soccer School a great experienced for every player and team that attends."
