Men's soccer to host league leading Campbell

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Oct. 24, 2008) - Looking for a berth in the Atlantic Sun conference tournament, the ETSU men's soccer team is set to host first place Campbell Saturday at 4 p.m. at Summers-Taylor Stadium.
The Bucs (5-7-1, 1-4-1 A-Sun) came away with a draw on Thursday as ETSU tied Mercer, 2-2. Sean Hoek (Newburgh, Ind.) leads the team in points (7) and goals (3), while Andrew Brown (Montego Bay, Jamaica) leads the Bucs in assists (4).
The Camels (9-5, 7-0 A-Sun) are undefeated in conference play having won their last seven matches. Campbell shutout USC Upstate Thursday, winning 3-0. Jason Keever leads the Camels with six goals on the season including two-game winners.
Every fan who brings an old pair of tennis shoes to the game will be admitted for only $1 in correlation with the "Kicks for Bucs" promotion. Also an hour before the match, the Alcohol Awareness Task Force (AATF) will hand out bags of goodies including candy, toothbrushes, AATF pencils, stickers, McDonald's French fries coupons and other fun prizes to the first 100 kids and students. BADD (Bucs Against Drunk Driving) will also be teaming up with AATF to promote alcohol awareness.
