ETSU men's soccer to take on USC Upstate

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (Oct. 18, 2008) - The ETSU men's soccer team will look for its first conference win Sunday at 7 p.m. as the Bucs head to Spartanburg, S.C. to take on conference opponent USC Upstate at the County University Soccer Stadium.

 

The Bucs (4-7, 0-4 A-Sun) dropped both games last weekend in Nashville falling to Lipscomb 2-1 and to Belmont 4-0. ETSU is led by Sean Hoek (Newburgh, Ind.) who has three game-winning goals on the season.

 

The Spartans (1-11, 0-4 A-Sun) come into the match having won only one match on the season against Brewton-Parker. USC Upstate is led by Alex Garcev and Erkam Yildirim as they are tied for the team lead with six points.
