Rain washes out day one of A-Sun Tournament; Bucs to face Jacksonville Thursday at 11 a.m.

DELAND, Fla. (May 20, 2009) - The opening game of the Atlantic Sun tournament between ETSU and Jacksonville at Melching Field in DeLand, Fla. has been moved to Thursday at 11 a.m. due to rain.

 

In ETSU's last appearance in the A-Sun tournament the Bucs found their way into the championship game losing a heartbreaker to Stetson.

 

The Bucs (24-27, 10-20 A-Sun) were swept by Jacksonville earlier in the season at Cardinal Park. ETSU is led by sophomore First-Team All-Conference selection Paul Hoilman (Johnson City, Tenn.) who has a team best .385 batting average.
