ETSU volleyball upsets Jacksonville on senior day, 3-2

The Dolphins looked to rally, but the Bucs played tough getting out to an eight point lead at 22-14. The Buccaneers won the set on a Dolphin attack error as they took a 2-1 lead in the match. Dyck led the way for the Bucs with six kills in the set. After ETSU got out to a 4-1 lead in the fourth set, Jacksonville went on to win seven-straight points to take a 8-4 lead. The Bucs cut the Dolphin lead to one point at 15-14, but Jacksonville held on to win the set 25-20 tying the match at 2-all. Play was tight early in the final set. With the score tied 4-4, the Bucs went on 6-2 run to go out in front 10-6. ETSU went on to win the match on a Cogburn kill, 15-11. The Bucs (11-16, 9-9 A-Sun) are back in action on Friday at 7 p.m. as they head to |
