JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Oct. 12, 2009) - The ETSU volleyball team will look to rebound on Tuesday at 7 p.m. as the Bucs head to Spartanburg, S.C. to take on conference rival USC Upstate.

The Bucs (6-12, 5-5 A-Sun) dropped both matches in Jacksonville, Fla. last weekend as they lost to Jacksonville 3-1 and North Florida 3-1. Junior Whitney Cogburn (Kingsport, Tenn.) has been on fire for the Buccaneers as she has posted a double-double in the last four matches.

ETSU is 5-3 all-time against the Spartans including a 3-1 win at home earlier in the season. The Bucs won a close 3-2 match on the road last year in Spartanburg, S.C.

USC Upstate (5-14, 1-9 A-Sun) has won two of its last four matches including the Spartans first conference win over Stetson. The Spartans are led by Morgan Thomas as she has a team-best 160 kills hitting .199 on the season.
