Enoch receives PING All-American honors
Enoch Wednesday, June 09, 2010 Enoch becomes 34th All-American selection in ETSU history Enoch, who qualified for the NCAA Championships after earning a share of the East Regional crown back on May 22, is the first Buccaneer golfer to receive All-American accolades since Gareth Shaw (Lisburn, Northern Ireland) obtained the honor in 2008 and is the 34th selection in ETSU history. This season has been a productive one for Enoch, as he was named to the PING All-Region Team, while also being selected to the European Palmer Cup squad. In addition, Enoch led the Bucs in stroke average and was named Atlantic Sun Golfer of the Month back in November. "Rhys had a strong season for us and I am delighted to have him receive this honor," said head ETSU men's golf coach Fred Warren. "We look forward to having Rhys back for one more season and hopefully he can build off this successful year." For more information on Buccaneer golf, visit www.ETSUBucs.com. |
