JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Feb. 13, 2010) - After having its season-opener delayed by snow on Saturday, the ETSU softball team will open up the 2010 campaign on Sunday when the Lady Bucs take on Charlotte. First pitch is set for 3 p.m. from D.L. Phillips Softball Complex.

Originally, ETSU was scheduled to face BIG EAST foe St. John's and Big South participant Liberty on Saturday, but snow and cold weather cancelled the opening day of the 49er Round Robin. Now, ETSU will take on the host 49ers, who finished the 2009 season at 33-16 and were picked to finish second in the Atlantic 10 this year.
